There was a great movie that impressed me named Meet John Doe. In the movie a news paper reporter (Barbara Stanwyck) writes a fictitious column about someone named John Doe, who is distraught at Americas neglect of the little people and plans to kill himself. The newspaper then hires a ballplayer-turned-hobo (Gary Cooper) to pose as John Doe. In a series of radio addresses written by a publisher with fascist leanings, Doe captures the publics imagination. When he finally realizes he has been used, Doe comes to his senses and becomes the man he never knew he could be. The John Doe Club was fictitious in the movies but I think it was a great idea so I am starting it now in the 21st century because the world really needs it these days. I think it would be terrific if John Doe Clubs would be created all over the World and do just as they did in the movies, help their fellow man.
