There was a program on StarFM yesterday between 8pm - 9pm & the guy, Simelani (+263 77 254 3430) highlighted very important issues about what he calls errors by the current churches. These are some of the questions he asked, 1. Why do we have different denominations that have different founders and different doctrines or ways of doing things & yet we claim to be the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:12)? 2. What is church doctrine, and why do we have different kinds of them if we were taught by one Christ? (Rom 16:17, Eph 4:14) And yet the Bible says we cannot separate the arm from the leg as they are all part of one, & if one suffers, so does the other. Why are we envious of other churches if they have different gifts than what we have? Love does not envy (1 Cor 13:4). Ive also realised that a lot of us are like the Ethiopian, a eunuch (Acts 8:27-39) who reads the scriptures but does not understand what they mean. So like sheep we will be led to the slaughter by false teachings. If Simon the magician (Acts 8:9-25), who was said to possess the power of God & had many followers, repented & realised the error of his ways, will the current churches be in a position to do the same if they realise that theyve erred?
