There was a small town that was miles away from the big city. Many people would drive by that small town just to get to the city. At first glance, there’s not much to that town. It has a gas station, grocery stores, a restaurant, a few buildings, and some houses. Most people would come and go, but there were some people that were permanent fixtures in the town. They were of course the people that worked in certain areas. And two of them were the town’s treasures. One was a young lady named Sonia. She was the waitress at the town’s only restaurant. She wore a bright smile, her sandy brown hair braided on top of her head, silver glasses on her face, and her fingernails were a burnt orange. The other was her fiancé and best friend, Jason. He worked as a chef in the restaurant. His blond hair was often covered with a hat and he wore a chef’s jacket. He would produce delicious food that would attract travelers from afar while Sonia would charm everyone, strangers and friends alike. They chose to have their wedding at their quiet little town, not a big city. All of their friends were there on that glorious day and Jason catered the wedding reception himself. A reporter from the city was there and he snapped pictures of their wedding and sampled the food there. In the next following months, visitors would come in crowds, hoping to catch a glimpse of the beautiful Sonia and taste Jason’s food. Sonia grew even friendlier and Jason’s food grew more delicious with each visitor. One day, an important food critic visited their humble restaurant. He gave them a great review and their business skyrocketed afterwards along with the other businesses in town. Sonia and Jason are still married to this day with three children, two daughters and a son. The restaurant is still going strong. Despite all of the fame it’s gained, the town, and the people that lived there, remained humble and friendly. Especially since Sonia and Jason’s children, Steve, Annie, and Dana, became the town’s treasures as well. It comes to show you that any town or city, no matter how big or small, can have a wonderful treasure.
