There was a time in my life that I didnt want children. That is an understatement. I would have wanted an incurable disease before I wanted to have kids. I had only seen the part where they just wore you out, and broke up your relationship. Well, after my husband at the time, a salesman at the Miami Herald, talked me into having a child, I teased him that his talking me into having children was perhaps the best sale yet. Then, when we began to try to have children, I couldnt have them in the regular, fun way. I went through months of fertility treatments. Finally, voilah! A miracle! A little heartbeat inside of me. Twenty-one years later, I cant imagine not having Lauren Lo Morales. Over the last couple of months, I dont know what I would have done without her, or where Id be without her. She is my Hero! Because of her, our family will all be back together again in a couple of days. We will again have our celebratory end of the day dinners which are more like a daily family party. We are our own little rainbow coalition which is full of Love and Color. We are our own Celebration. I LOVE you, Lauren, and I thank God everyday for making me change my stubborn mind, and bringing you into Life to give me even MORE of a Life. Thank you!
