There was always a danger of sisterhood generosity that was going to be bandid about had we lost points to Morris FC on Saturday. But that said, it was a victory that kind of left a dour taste in the mouth. Remember that day when Frank Lampard was introduced in to the fray for Manchester City when Chelsea - a club where he spent almost all his heyday - were leading with a few minutes left? Then Lamps scored the goal that denied Chelsea all the points. Imagine the emotions he must have felt. On screen he looked like he would cry any moment. The same would go for Toto and Metso last Satuday. They were there when ZRP FC rose from the ashes in 2002. They groomed the majority of players who were on the pitch for the opposing team. Sure, deep down they must feel proud that the team they helped build from the dirt is doing well - but they are currently embroiled in a relegation dogfight they might loss come week 36. Sense of de javu? You could say that. Kudos for ZRP for doing a professional job and for more goals to KMero. But I hope Morris FC will pick themselves up and fight to stay in there. Football - bloody hell...
