There was boxing on ESPN tonight. One of the co-main events, Petr Petrov-Hank Lundy, was cancelled last minute due to Lundy missing weight. Luckily, Willie Monroe Jr and Brian Vera were all set to go for their crossroads Middleweight content. It failed to live up to expectations, if expectations sailed beyond Monroe Jr putting up a masterful performance in outboxing a long-time contender. Vera was down in round five and couldnt trouble the taller, more skilled Monroe. The judges scored the fight 99-90, 98-91, and 97-92 as Monroe builds upon his run in the 2014 Boxcino tournament and readies himself for the best at 160lbs. Speaking of Boxcino, the brackets are IN for Boxcino 2015. The quarter-final round is to take place on February 13th (Junior Middleweights) and February 20th (Heavyweights). See the full slate for these events (both televised on ESPNs Friday Night Fights) below: Heavyweights (2/20): Steve Vukosa (10-0) Vs. Donovan Dennis (10-1) Razvan Cojanu (12-1) Vs. Ed Fountain (10-0) Andrey Fedosov (25-3) Vs. Nat Heaven (9-1) Lenroy Thomas (18-3) Vs. Mario Heredia (9-1) Junior Middleweights (2/13): Cleotis Pendarvis (17-4) Vs.
