Maranatha had seven different players score in both the first and second quarters contributing towards a commanding 51-34 halftime lead. Anthony Sistoza added 14 points and six rebounds to lead the Philippines who also were boosted by Tyler Tio (11 points, 5 steals, 4 assists), Gian Mamuyac/Vince Ferrer (9 points each), Samuel Abujihleh (8), and Ricci Rivero with six points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals. This Philippines team was coached by one of that nations all-time greats in legendary Jojo Lastimosa, who was assisted by Raymond Mercader. Skyes TheLimit Isles (7 points) pilfered away towards six steals and three assists, while Marc Marc Howard Jr turnt up the fourth quarter off the bench with three consecutive buckets (6 points). Alex Vernon pitched in for four points and six rebounds.
