There was once a time when country music Black. Most Black People alive today are far too young to remember this time. They called it race music and or Black folk back in the twenties thirties and forties. It was a variation of Blues. White rural farmers would then come to copy THIS EXACT STYLE and then it would come to be known as "hillbilly music". Today we call Hill Billy music Country music and now it is almost 100 percent white. But long long time ago, country music used to be a black genre with primarily black artists, but Country music just like jazz and blues was stolen from Black people by white Industries.
