There was only one way to rid herself from the curse and gain her eyesight back, but how? Blood clearly wasn’t the answer—that had been obvious when nothing had happened when she killed the Demons. Gabriel’s blood worked—he was the answer to her problems, it was his blood she needed to be cured, not just any Demon. Swearing under her breath, she used the remnants of Gabriel’s power to teleport her to him. His scent filled her nose instantly, and his soft breathing lured her towards where he showered. Keeping the dagger held in a tight grip, she eased into the room, knowing he hadn’t noticed her. Couldn’t have. She raised the dagger when she was close enough. He put his lips to her ears. “What is it you want above all others, right this second?” He was baiting her—he knew what she wanted. When she felt his hand slacken against the knife, she knocked it out of his grasp and spun him around.
