There was some discussion on the Bexhill on Sea group about the prospects for local governance in Bexhill and the need for a review to be undertaken to take it forward. The leader of the council has made a manifesto pledge to undertake a review if the Conservative majority is returned in May but leaving it to the result of the election is not a safe option for those who want to see it happen. The Independents have been running a petition to to secure a review without depending on the election and the petition has to gain 3500 names (genuine names, not duplicates or Mickey Mouses - they do check!!) For the petition to succeed it still needs about 1300 more signatures so, anyone who wants to be sure of the review being undertaken and who hasnt yet signed, please do sign it.
