There were over 40 members of Mason present at the vision quest tonight. We spent the evening on a time line of where we have been for the last 10 years. It was hard to hear some things, it was good to hear some things. We have been through a terrible patch of losses of people, our sense of self as a church, even our property isnt ours with rental and groups that use the place (and we cant). At the end I think we felt encouraged to tackle tomorrow-which is dreaming, facing realities, and setting some strategies. I am sorry I will not be there, but I feel good about who will be there..Jim Davis and Nancy did a good job and we will have notes to consult. October 11 we will convene again to make some action plans. I am going to have my pills and a snack and go to bed.
