There were quite a few obstacles Vicky had to overcome before she was able to go to Boston, but she handled them with patience and optimism. Her social work exchange at Brigham and Womens Hospital was the opportunity of a lifetime, and she learned much. A true exchange, she also gave much–educating Boston social workers about Common Hopes mission and her job as a social worker in Guatemala.
