There were some big results today, so lets get stuck into our #BigBallers NBA recap! The Atlanta Hawks continue their run with the big scalp of the red hot Cleveland Cavaliers. Shelvin Mack was seeing the bucket, as he put up 24pts. Al Horford chipped in with 20pts in the team effort from the Hawks. Dion Waiters and LeBron James both had 21pts for the Cavs, but thats about where the scoring finished for Cleveland. In a game which saw the Hawks shoot 64% from the field, the Cavs were 8/30 from deep. Isaiah Thomas kicked things into gear for the Phoenix Suns as the defeated the Charlotte Hornets 111-106. Thomas had 23pts after struggling the last few games. Goran Dragic was also great in the battle of the PGs with 20pts and 8asts. Al Jefferson was dominant down low for the Hornets with 28pts and 10rebs. Kemba Walker was the only other play from Charlotte to really chip in with 27pts and 7asts. In a big win for the Utah Jazz, they have downed the Miami Heat 105-87. It was a big day for Gordon Hayward as he finished with 29pts, 6rebs and 7asts. Dante Exum hit double figures for his second game in a row with 10pts. It might as well been the Jazz vs Dwyane Wade as he scored 42 of the Heats 87. Mario Chalmers was the only other player for the heat to hit double digits with 11pts. The Toronto Raptors have beaten the Brooklyn Nets 105-89. Kyle Lowry continued his push for All-Star status with 20pts and 12asts while Jonas Valančiūnas had 16pts and 10rebs. Mason Plumlee had 23pts and 8rebs in the Nets loss. The Memphis Grizzlies have taken their 2nd big scalp in as many days after defeating the San Antonio Spurs 117-116 in 3OT!!! Zach Randolph was a beast with 21pts and 21rebs while his partner in the post Marc Gasol had 26pts and 9rebs. Danny Green was the Spurs highest scorer with 25pts, but Tim Duncan was vintage with 23pts and 16rebs.
