There will a pubic rally outside Liverpool Central Library at 1pm today to protest against the mass library closures over there. All people who believe in the value of public libraries are encouraged to attend. Demonstrate against library cuts. Cutting library services means ending a vital link for people of all ages. Many people in the consultation meetings have said they needed libraries to help their development as human beings. The eleven libraries that are under threat are: Breck Road, Lee Valley, Walton, Dovecot, Old Swan, Wavertree, Fazakerley, Sefton Park, West Derby, Kensington and Spellow.
