There will be a meeting of the Starks Historical Society on Wednesday evening, September 3rd at 7 PM at the Starks Community Center. On the agenda will be: Election of Secretary Other: a. reimbursement of the cost of Jim Murphy’s memorial stone. b. replacement bronze plaque at the veteran’s memorial. c. proposal for space at the municipal building for curating and storing items of historical significance to the town d. request by Fogler Library (at UMaine Orono) for general public access to Hist. Soc. transcripts. e. document project and webpage matters f. such other matters as may be brought to the meeting for discussion. g. show and tell Ernie Hilton- President.
