There would always be a fine line separating the law and the gospel of grace, mixing these two is like mixing oil and water.if the law was sufficient to deal with mans fallen nature, Jesus and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit would be of no use but Jesus and the out pouring of the Holy Spirit became extremely necessary because the law was totally inadequate. The law required works that never totally atoned for mankind, Grace says receive without working, Grace calls us to buy without money,Grace says see I lay before life and death, choose life that you may live. Grace overshadowed the law because what the law couldnt do, Grace did and much more. Only infants and babies need milk but strong meat is for the mature who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good and evil (Heb 5:13-14). Only a babe would say let us continue in sin. . . Grace is asking you now; do you believe?
