Therefore, He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25 I am so thankful that I have never been brought to court on an accusation against me. I have never had to hire an attorney to defend me. If that were to ever happen to me, I would want to find the best lawyer who not only would plead my case, but be capable of stating my case professionally and convincingly. When it comes to our faith, I am so grateful that Jesus is our attorney in heaven. He is our advocate, our defender. When we are wrongly accused by Satan, Jesus stands up for us and reminds heaven, earth and hell that we belong to Him and states our case for us. He claims us to be innocent, not because we really are, but because He is the One who completely saved us and loosed the chains and shackles that we were brought to court in. If this verse doesnt give you Jesus bumps, then you are missing what the Word of God is all about. We will always be wrongly accused by the devil and his prosecuting attorneys, but I thank God they are all liars because of the blood of Jesus Christ! Wow! What a mighty God we serve!
