Therefore, do not put aside your fearless confidence, because it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. You will have need of patience and endurance on your journey so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God in your life to receive the promises He has made. ~~~~~ Hebrews 10:35 & 36 Reading through a devotional of A Year In The Now and this passage really jumped out at me. So I will paraphrase: psalm 3:3 says that You oh Lord are my shield, my glory and the One Who lifts up my head. Through and in Him do we find the stamina, the confidence and the strength to withstand all that we are facing. We will not be fooled by the phony feelings of inferiority of being inadequate and lacking substance by comparing ourselves to others and their accomplishments and successes. God has placed and equipped within each of us our own calling and tools to fulfill our destiny and no one else can do it but us! Therefore, we are enough! We will face up to the consequences of our mistakes, we will not run and hide from them, but we will admit when we are wrong and correct what can be and if there is no correction to be done, them we will learn from that mistake, not do it again and go on to something greater and grander. Therefore, we will forgive ourselves! We will strive for greatness, not perfection because perfection is a deception. We are not perfect, so we dont do perfect. There is no room for perfection in our lives, only greatness. We know our weaknesses, but we also know our strengths. We know our failures, but we also know our successes. We know our flaws, but we also know our virtues. We know our limitations, but we also know our full potential. We are great, mighty and strong in Christ. We have a sense of purpose and walk through this day with the intent to be a blessing and to be blessed. It is a great day and we will be courageous, confident and strong in The Lord for He has already made this day perfect! Have an incredibly, glorious and sunshiny day my friends, it is all going to be good!
