Therefore, through Him let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of our lips that confess His name. Hebrews 13: 15 For most of us, on any given day, we use our God given, vocal ability to speak. In fact, we usually speak a few thousand to several thousand words in a twenty-four hour period!!! When you think about it, that is a LOT of talking!!! I confess, I do a lot of talking too!!! Perhaps it is because I am a preacher!!! When I was a boy, sometimes the teacher would place a check mark on my report card where it said talks too much. I guess speaking has always been important to me. Since we are on the subject of talking, HOW MUCH TALKING DO WE DO FOR THE LORD? HOW MANY OF OUR CONVERSATIONS REVOLVE AROUND PRAISING GOD? Our scripture verse for today reminds us that through Christ, we should continually be offering praise to God by what comes out of our mouths. Now we have already established the fact that we like to talk. Just think what an impact we could have in this world if we were to speak in praise to God, and speak of our faith in Him, and His faithfulness to each of us!!! THERE ARE PEOPLE ALL AROUND US WHO NEED TO HEAR ABOUT GODS LOVE AND FORGIVENESS!!! WHILE WE ARE TALKING TODAY, LET US SPEAK WORDS OF PRAISE TO GOD, AND SHARE WITH OTHERS THAT JESUS SAVES!!! Have a great Thursday everyone!!! God bless you, one and all!!! Pastor Steve Carr
