Therein lies the central difference between the left and right on - TopicsExpress

Therein lies the central difference between the left and right on fiscal matters: like the Soviets of yesteryear, the left simply cannot fathom a world where government is not the hub of innovation and economic prosperity. However, even a cursory review of history will reveal the lunacy of such an idea that corporations and businesses do not create jobs. Further, it’s simply amazing that both Hillary and her philandering husband cannot grasp the economic harvest reaped thanks to Reagan’s (and to a lesser extent, George H.W. Bush’s) trickle-down economics. In the ‘80’s and early ‘90’s, the Bill Gates and Steve Jobs of the world were relatively unhindered by the punishing taxation and overregulation that has become standard in Obama’s America. By fostering those who build businesses, more and more were employed and the dotcom boom exploded on Bill Clinton’s watch. In short: thanks to “trickle-down” economics, America was able to coast on the benefits for a decade after big-government proponents came to the Oval Office.
