Theres a LOT going on with this coastal low. The 700mb upper level low has closed off. (1st image) That deepens the trough, and the full tilt negative is shown in the 500mb level (image 2). Precipitation is moving west. The question remains HOW far west will it expand? Ill watch this on radar and see IF we can get that daylong, persistent dryslot to start filling in.
