Theres a church near my house that has a message board. A while back it said, Next time you feel like youre not getting what you deserve, perhaps you should be thankful. True enough. Certainly there are times when we dont get what we deserve, times we get less than we deserve and times when we get more than we deserve. September 22nd, 1990 was definitely one of the latter. That was the day Cynda agreed to be with me through sickness and health, richer and poorer, and good times and bad for as long as we both shall live. And weve certainly seen all of the above in our 24 years together. She remains, however, a remarkable woman of quiet strength, subtle humor and great courage. And I remain a very fortunate man.
