Theres a couple of great activities happening in the City centre today. First up, theres a Musical Picnic Midweek Explorers at the Symphony Hall cafe bar at 10.30am. Recommended for age 5 and under. FREE! After that, have some lunch - by the canal or up on the rooftop garden at the Library of Birmingham are both good places. Then head over to Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery where you can make a bug hotel for the creatures in your garden. 1-3pm. £1 per child. If you fancy staying local, starting today for the next 3 days the Pavilion Christian Community based at Rowheath Pavilion are hosting some Summer Family Fun Days. On from 11am til 4pm each day there will be football matches, craft activities, table tennis, bouncy castle, parachute games, drama, face painting and a family friendly movie each afternoon between 2-4pm. On Friday, the activities will go on longer and conclude with a BBQ starting at 4.30pm. Lunch on Friday is FREE! bmag.org.uk
