Theres a good reason why models charge. Too often I hear the phrase, you dont come to work without clocking in, why work for free? Bear in mind theres a world of difference between the the model who works for free versus the model who charges. The model who charges most likely hauls around expensive name brands, exotic shoes and clothing. Its the main way they can keep adding to their selection of outfits which you can choose from. Its the way they can circulate their outfits out if one is shot too many times. The model who works for free may not have as much to pick from, as glamorous an outfit repertoire, or a means to fund outfit circulation. This is but only one of the many reasons why I charge. If you want the model who brings incredible and strange articles scouted from the depths of the internet and antique stores, this is how I fund it. If I choose to work trade, its rare.
