Theres a reason I almost never watch organized sports such as football, baseball, etc. The reason: nothing impresses me more than following ATHLETES like those who participate in events such as the AC100 and other endurance events. Whether Im crewing, helping at an aid station, or cheering at a finish line, all these athletes have always been gracious, and true examples of discipline and respect. These athletes do not have multi-million dollar contracts and an enormous budget to hire expert trainers, physical therapists, managers, and publicists. Cheers to all who participated in AC100!!! It doesnt matter if you finished first, dropped, or came in last...anyone who has the guts to start is someone I am happy to cheer for! :D Congrats to all of you!!!
