Theres a reason I made this post public... A long time ago I figured out what it means to be lost, whether it was in a relationship or just everyday life. People by instinct tend to look out for themselves, which by all means is ok because life is too short to be anything but happy. I guess somewhere along the way we as humans forgot what it meant to truly care about other people. Ive made a lot of mistakes in my life and to this day I still think about some. My deepest regret is treating people the way they treat me, I let them dictate my attitude towards them. The downfall to that is it takes away from who you really are as a person. When you let someone elses emotions affect yours, youre destined and doomed to live vicariously through through their mindset. Despite how some people have treated me and took me for granted, there are still some people out there who have he purest of hearts. Maybe its time to focus more on those people than wasting my energy on the negative ones. Regardless, my intentions are always pure in any situation I go in to, and sometimes I may put too much into someone who doesnt deserve the attention. Like always though, its best to treat anyone whos in your life with the utmost respect, because everyone warrants respect. I guess what it boils down to is that no matter how much someone treats you like shit, theres still going to be those people who will undoubtedly be there any time you need them. Bottom line; out of sight, out of mind.
