Theres a story I heard this past week that I cant stop thinking about. A child (5 years old, I think) apparently reached into his mothers purse for whatever reason and got ahold of her pistol then shot and killed her in a store. She had purchased the pistol legally and had a concealed carry permit for it... presumably for protection. I keep wondering what the gun nuts are going to say now. What compromises are they going to propose just to preserve their right to bear arms? What is going to be the excuse?
