Theres a tactic often used by douchebags (entrepreneurs) that involves them saying the other persons name over and over again in conversation with them. The idea is the more someone says your name, the more you like them, the easier it is for them to manipulate you into buying what theyre selling. It seems to work, but I dont understand how. When I hear someone doing it, I figure that if they dont have some kind of exploitative agenda, theyre just plain annoying.
