Theres a term called The Higher Self. I have an idea...but, I could be off-base. My suggestion is substitute the word higher for the word Genuine. i.e. - Ones genuine self. In this particular context, to me, higher has the sound of superior. And if I am myself and am at one, then how could I be superior to myself? This is just an opinion of which only has the merit that I assign to it. Anyone is welcome to think as they choose. Please feel free to give me your thoughts on this. They will go entirely uncontested.
