Theres a time to sit at the table, a time to negotiate, and a time to get up and walk away. Muslim organizations that ignore challenges Muslims face in America and abroad cannot claim to represent our communities when they are not prioritizing these communities issues and concerns above their own interests. They will lose support. We have to know when to engage, disengage, and - if circumstances are appropriate - re-engage.
