Theres alot to be grateful for. I am grateful first for The Lord Almighty taking care of us. For being healthy and being able to work. For my family and my wifes family for housing us, feeding us, helping us out when we needed them, they all went far above and beyond for us when we hit rock bottom. My mom Iqilana Patkotak and dad George Patkotak for teaching me work ethic, responsibility, honesty and discipline, and sending me to auntie Ethel Segevvan who taught me to make sure I do the little things, like throw the trash out, clean up and dont waste anything, for allowing me to be myself at your house whenever my brother and I would fight, for giving me some money for soda and munchies when I was working age, and for putting up with us for a long time. My aapas and aakas who would look out for us, feed us real good and teaching us how to sing, how to use a GPS and to always make sure we listen to my mom and dad. Along with my dad, they taught me at an early age the idea of letting go once their time would come, and that we wouldnt need to cry once they were called to go Home, since we will see them again. My best buddy Jason* his mom Bertha Tagarook and his dad Kenneth Tagarook who would allow us to go hunting with their gear and for Jason to show me the differences between geese and ducks, how to skin and gut some of the animals we catch and for always making sure we were alright wherever we went, also for always allowing us to be us. My wife Vera Ahsoak for continually standing by my side through thick and thin, teaching me about parenting, giving me four little boys, and her older children Priscilla Ridley and Brandi Ahsoak for accepting me as their own and for teaching and taking care of my boys even though they drive them up the wall. For my many uncles and aunties who all always made sure we were good, saying prayers for us and who are all always happy to see us. For the guys at NSB Public Works and at BUECI for having patience in showing me what I needed to know while working, and for those Managers who gave me a chance when they hired me. For my landlord George and Delores Burnell and their daughter Monica for allowing us to rent their home when we didnt have a place and being patient with us. Theres plenty more to name and I truly hope the Good Lord blesses each and everybody around us for everything you do and have done. Thank you all for everything.
