Theres an old E.C. Comic about this... A very interesting perspective, we truly do view the plant kingdom as the other. Laura Deerfield says I have known this for decades. I saw a documentary that showed a plant pulling away from someone who had clipped its leaves. It didnt pull away from other people. That means not only do they feel pain, but they can remember it and recognize a specific individual who caused it. Veganism is not compassionate, unless you are arrogant enough to privilege things with eyes over plant life. They all feel pain.
