Theres been a lot more talking at my house lately. For the better part of the long weekend, Sam has been hanging on every word, punctuating every conversation with echoed snippets of whats just been said. Sometimes he repeats the last few words. Sometimes its a chunk of words from the middle. Occasionally he emphasizes a portion of the conversation with an unexpectedly relevant statement or opinion. So whats going on here? Does he want to be part of the conversation? Is he trying to figure out how conversations work? Learning new scripts? Playing with my mind? Guess Ill see how it continues to unfold.
