Theres been an old, old cat thats been coming up at feeding time, and she looks like death warmed over, shes had her tip of her tail bit off, crippled on one side, looks like hip has been hurt, poor, ribs showing. Shes very old, even her teeth are bad and has trouble chewing. Shes very wild and hisses at everything and appears mean, well yesterday she greeted me with a little smile and meow and actually let me pet her. She somehow figured I was her friend and actually let me pet her. I have named her MARGENE. She has had a life of hell and I think she realizes she has found a friend and I will take care of her, till she travels to cat heaven. Will try my best to make her last days as comfortable as possible. Going to be a sad day around here someday, as we have a 3 legged donkey that will probably get unbearable arthritis in leg some day, a old 18 yr. old tom cat that Ive had since he was a kitten, an old dog 16 thats going deaf and blind, a catahoula dog thats fighting cancer, and a old horse thats 25. LOL, didnt mean to be so depressing today. Take a day at a time, for right now everyone is happy and content! Didnt realize that my home would would turn into old folks home for animals.
