Theres been so much loss recently, I thought I would share this. This is from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Season 5, The Body, where Joyce dies. It is possibly Emma Caufields finest hour, and t wasnt so bad for Joss Whedon, either. (Anya) “ I dont understand how this all happens. How we go through this. I knew her and then shes just a body, and I dont understand why she just cant get back in it and not be dead anymore. Its mortal and stupid. And Xanders crying and not talking and I was having fruit punch, and I thought, well, Joyce will never have any more fruit punch, ever. And shell never have eggs, or yawn or brush her hair, not ever, and no one will explain to me why.” (Willow) “We dont know why.”
