Theres no doubt that Muslim nations have many maladies in their socia-political dynamics, from poverty to political corruption. However, I have witnessed one particular fire of calamity that has been burning the Muslim world for my entire life. I have seen the flames roaring high periodically; at a phenomenal cost of human lives. Ive often wondered at the chief cause of such adversity; as I firmly believe that galvanising justice in society requires activism with wisdom and full knowledge of the context of the circumstances of the relevant place. Misdiagnosis often caused by ignorance of the socia-political dynamics will only further injustices. Further to this point my personal viewpoint in regards to the Muslim majority nations is that the underlying political issue which causes much strife and violence is the struggle between the extreme of the religionists and the secular wish of the people. The Muslim world have been secular by law for a while, however, as a society a complete cessation from religious authority did not actually occur on the ground and the Muslim world have been living at a embroiled limbo since. Thus the current plight is the reaching point of the apex of this struggle that started hundreds of years ago. I hope and pray that both the religionists and the secular forces see their extremism and the atrocities that they are capable of unleashing on the people and restrain from bloodshed. And they seek only diplomatic solutions over shedding more blood.
