Theres no such thing as manual or automatic prayer! Theres no adjectification of prayer in the bible! It is pentecostalism that brought adjectives to prayer! Prayer is prayer! Prayer is communication with God and NOT controlling God!Sincerely,i cant say i believe in prayer but i can boldly say i believe in God and for me to have a dialogue with the God i believe in,then i must pray!so,it is not my prayers that answers me but God!Im saying this cos some xtians today believe more in the prayer than in God who answers the prayer! Prayer is not powerful,it is God who answers the prayer that is powerful! Finally,for every prayer,God always give an answer but most of us dont know cos we want only one particular answer which is yes and nothing else! God answers our prayers in 4 dimensions; sometimes,His answer could be YES(this is the answer we always want to get);Sometimes,His answer is NO(we usually dont want this answer at all);Sometimes,His answer to us could be WAIT(this is one great answer we dont want to get used to cos no one likes to wait like the eagle but they want to soar) and Sometimes,His answer is SILENCE;He just keeps quiet!(this one usually come to those who pray amiss or sometimes to those going through process or even purnishment).Anyway you look at it,God always answer prayers in His way,the GODmatic way,NOT automatic!
