Theres no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one. -Jill Churchill Being a mother is the hardest, most rewarding, and probably most important job I have ever had. But, like all mothers, I sometimes struggle with the realization that I am not, in fact, a perfect mother. Nor will I ever be! There simply is no such thing as a perfect mom, but I can be a loving mom, an understanding mom, an empathetic mom, a mom that sees the best in my kid instead of the worst and gives him the tools he needs to find and follow his purpose. This is for all you moms out there that end your days exhausted, stepping on legos, ignoring piles of clothes and sinks full of dishes, wondering if youre doing it right... YOU ARE. The love in your hearts is enough. The smiles on their dirty little faces...thats enough. The amazing people they will become, THATS enough. Happy Mothers Day, from one mama to another :). xoxo
