Theres nothing quite like being called a libaTURD whenever you remind small government Republicans that the policies and institutions they are arguing in favor of are in fact perfect examples of an out-of-control, big brother, tyrannical government. Although this comes as no surprise. After all, these are the same people who voted fervently for Obamney 2012. You know, the ones who told you repeatedly that anything other than a vote for Romney was a vote for Obama, despite the fact that Romney and Obama were pretty much identical in every measure. These are the small government proponents who saw alternatives like Gary Johnson and Ron Paul, and not only turned their backs to them, supported them being left off of ballots, laughed as their delegates were harassed and assaulted during the primaries; laughed when they were blocked from entering the convention; and laughed as their spots were stolen away. Gary and Paul were quacks and loons for wanting to stay out of middle eastern conflicts. They were absurd to want to demolish the IRS, and redundant agencies. These Republicans are against big government but love it when big government uses its power to stamp out competition/ reinforce monopolies. They routinely bring up things like Sharia Law but see no problem when the government in the US institutes martial law-like operations (post-Boston bombing; Ferguson). And somehow, despite loving big government, big government programs, tax kickbacks, freebies, surveillance, overinflated budgets, bailouts, militarized police, the infringing of rights, so forth, Im the libaTURD?
