Theres only one way to describe the feeling you get upon receiving a message like this; love: Considering Ive listened to your record about 30 times cover to cover, I feel as though I ought to write this to you. Thank you. Thank you for writing a record that not only means something to you, but that it means something to me. The lyrics and message can be interpreted any way one likes, but they hold a rather important message to me personally. This record is like an incredible piece of literature. You can read it a thousand times and yet still draw something new from it every time you experience it. This is that record. Ive listened to it for hours, and I cant express how much this record means to me. For some reason, I normally get caught up in how the guitar is EQd and other random semantics, but this record, for me, is flawless. Im one of the most musically cynical people I know, and I cant describe what this means to me. Something happened to me when I listened to this album via We Are Triumphant (Ive known Greg for years, hes a great guy). Something occurred to me. Ive been playing and making aggressive music since I was a young kid. But this- this album is something Ive never come across in my life. Ive always touted myself as being a music guy thats played music my entire life and I thought as though I knew it all and have since experienced it all. But not this record. This record is a true work of art. Ive always said that I dont care what the music is, so long as it has real, unrelenting passion. And this album defines everything I know about passion itself. I randomly stumbled across your guys band on YouTube and ever since, I was hooked- and immediately bought the album. I know that you guys are incredibly humbled by the kind words that have been spoken to you from other people- but take this as you will: Words cannot describe the meaning this record has to me. Not only on face value such as the quality of the recording, and the overall composure of the album, but the sheer thought and foresight you had with this truly makes me believe that there are still incredible musicians out there with pure passion. Im so happy that people with my yearning for something great exist on the other side of the world and I cant express to you how happy and grateful I am that you made such a masterpiece of music.
