Theres really just a massive problem with the I cannot stop sinning doctrine. If you cannot stop sinning, you do not know Christ, and you will never see the fullness of His purchase on the cross manifest in your life. We were all born into sin. All have fallen short of the glory of God. Through one man sin entered the world (Adam), and through another it has been destroyed (Jesus). If we have risen with Him, we will walk free of the legal penalty of and bondage of sin. It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free. God wants to manifest Himself to the world through you, greater than He did in Christ. But if you are not understanding of and walking in the legal authority of what Jesus did, He will not. He cant! People say well we sin everyday and dont know it. If thats the case Jesus was a liar about the Holy Spirit and God has lied all throughout 1 John. If you cannot stop sinning, it is not because God has not made it possible, it is because you have not put on Christ. God gave the world to man. He is reconciling it to Himself through the death AND resurrection of Jesus. He HAS overcome the world. If we are IN HIM, and as HE IS, so WE ARE, we will overcome as well. See, its not just about not sinning. Its about walking and being a SON of God. Post resurrection. But if we cannot stop sinning, we have not encountered the Son nor do we understand His sacrifice! The earth is waiting for RESURRECTED SONS TO MANIFEST.
