Theres recently been a spat over Neil deGrasse Tysons dishonest - TopicsExpress

Theres recently been a spat over Neil deGrasse Tysons dishonest assertions, its largely been ignored by a media hot to protect their rock star science/global warming guy, and the spat has leaked over onto Wikipedia, where all has never been well. Wiki editors have repeatedly erased information about Tysons dishonesty and had some pretty weak responses when questioned on what is obviously a propaganda campaign on the part of the editors. And now the entry for The Federalist has been threatened. I once encountered something similar but without the political overtones, I think I may have been banned from editing Wiki after correcting an obviously erroneous entry on the two statues in front of the Board of Trade Building, the entry included a link to the Smithsonian about two wall-reliefs that are on the side of the building, not the statues below (but its a link to the Smithsonian!). I also included an interesting history of the statues that was backed up by the Tribune, the autobiography of Arthur Cutten and an entry in Wikipedia, yet the entry was repeatedly removed and I was threatened with banning. You have to be careful with Wiki, a lot of the citations cannot be reached online (not necessarily bad) or the links have expired.
