Theres still some standing water on campus. We may still get some storms, compliments of Hurricane Odile and there are a few things we should keep in mind. College updates will be posted to the college’s home page mesacc.edu, here and tweeted. Check your college email for notices regarding any crisis, weather or otherwise. Instructions on how to forward your .edu account to one you may use more often: mesacc.edu/self-help/google-apps/google-apps-forward-student-email. Text messages will also be sent. Please make sure your cell phone number listed in the Student Center/Personal Information section of My.Maricopa.edu to receive these alerts. Remember it’s not wise to swim in or drink flood water. The water is not just dirty, it’s filled with thousands of different types of bacteria, possibly even fecal matter, as MCC Biotechnology Director Stan Kikkert reported on CBS5 last week.
