Theres usually a Big, Altruistic, Purposeful and Wonderful Reason - TopicsExpress

Theres usually a Big, Altruistic, Purposeful and Wonderful Reason why you want to create your vision or mission, or walk a spiritual path. (Think Beauty Pageant: End World Hunger..... (wait for it) .....for the Children!) Thats your big why, and its real, and its good, all kidding aside. Its amazing, and its powerful. You also have what my coaches call your Selfish Reason for doing this vision. This is more about you. Its up close and personal. (Think: I want to create a wilderness program (for the children), because I really hate my day job, and I am sick of working for The Man. Or, you want to do some healing work, so you can also stay home and raise and be around your kids. Or, you want to guide people on hunting trips, because you personally really really love hunting, exploring and stuff like that.) Both of those reasons are powerful. And from my experience, it is absolutely critical that you make sure that you are deeply aligned with both when you put together your strategy for actually walking your vision, and bringing it to life and into this world. If you dont get aligned with both, youre gonna have trouble. Seriously. Because the Big Vision cant sustain you if your Personal vision isnt met. And, if you just focus on your personal side, the part of you that knows you need to bring your gifts to the world wont be satisfied or happy either. I have never heard anyone of my Wilderness Spiritual Leaders share this important distinction, ever. Its usually all about the Big Purpose. I do know that Jake Swamp always said that we all need to play a lot more volleyball, and I think he was absolutely right on that account! I think playing more games and having fun totally raises our vibration and attracts good people, solutions and good energy towards our work... What do you guys think?
