Theresa Honeycutt is my wife. So yes, I am bias. Yes, she was involved in an accident yesterday that jostled her around a tad. Typical aches and pains associated with that today. And yes, she still ran a half marathon. But what she REALLY did today was demonstrate TRUE and SELFLESS FRIENDSHIP.She had trained, like lots of you, in order to do her best. Hopefully and probably PR. But when her friend, Karyl Rhodes, started experiencing severe knee pain, she remained by her side. Provided encouragement and support. You see, Karyl had trained for this event as well. It was her FIRST half marathon event. We can ALL appreciate the angst that comes from months of training and preparation, and then to suffer injury before OR during a race. To put your goals and ambitions aside?, in order to be there for a friend, yes, she is my wife and Im bias. Today she exhibited truly what TRUE FRIENDSHIP is all about.
