Theresas adventures at the barn.....Branch has been clearing fence lines and trimming in general. But, he has not picked it all up so I mow strategically. Did anyone know the limbs from (what I call) the horseapple tree have thorns. I was raised in a subdivision and had no clue. I thought I was mowing around a rather large and gnarly limb. The tire caught on little edge and that limb jumped up and wrapped around me like an octopus. The more I fought it the deeper it dug in. And you couldnt just grab it because the thorns would sink into your hands. I even tried my useless machete. As I got out of it I thought That must have been how Jesus felt with his crown of thorns. I rode back to the barn to clean the wounds and Branch put peroxide on them. Even my face was bleeding. After 30 minutes I went back to mowing.......but not on that side of the road. Just another day in the country. Branch says these things find me.
