There’s a kind of madness that envelops you, when you realize - TopicsExpress

There’s a kind of madness that envelops you, when you realize that perhaps you are living in the wrong “time”, maybe just the wrong dimension or realm. Driving down the two mile dirt road every morning, watching the wild life, breathing in the beauty of the trees and slopes of the hills, I have longed to just jump out of the car, and walk. Just walk. Listen to the birds; take my sweet time smelling the fragrance that nature provides, but alas, I am restricted by time, that all illusion that prohibits much else than work and sleep. “Time”, what is it really, just some made up restriction to keep us from doing what would please our souls most? Perhaps. Some one created this whole, “I don’t have time” thing for someone’s gain. I don’t imagine it was for mine. I never gained much by watching the clock. I’d rather watch the sun, the moon, the shadows and not worry about being somewhere “on time”, or being “late”. What is that anyway? I get there when I mean to, not a moment before, right? Bottom line is, there is entirely too much rushing around and not enough time spent nourishing the soul. I think we should all take the rest of the year off and nourish the soul. No war, No “time”, just us and nature. Grow gardens; take up a craft that you could barter with. Forget money. What about the rent you say? Forget that too. No payments for the rest of the year. Maybe we just might find some community in the time off. Sure, stores may close down when the money ran out, but really, what is Money? It’s just another leash to wrap tightly around your neck, to choke you very efficiently should you not have enough of it. Like Time, Money is no different. Just a made up limitation that someone created to control you. Oh wait! I know another one, Government, oh, and let’s not forget Religion boys and girls. I am tired of the leashes. Tired of the binds and chains that enslave Us. Those who mean to rule us, don’t take care of us, they stab fear into your heart, Hunger in your bowl and expect you to swallow it. Deona M.
