There’s a little something for everyone this weekend at the box office. Jamie Foxx, Quvenzhane Wallis, Cameron Diaz and Bobby Cannavale sing and dance up a storm in the rousing, musical remake “Annie” which opens Dec. 19. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are back for more laughs in “Night At The Museum: Secret Of The Tomb.” The comedy also stars the late Robin Williams. In “Wild” Reese Witherspoon stars as a woman on an introspective 1,100-mile solo hike to try and cope with a recent catastrophe. “Foxcatcher” is based on the true story of eccentric billionaire John DuPont (played by Steve Carell) who dreams of coaching an elite wrestling team named Foxcatcher after his farm. He recruits and sponsors Olympic Gold Medal winning wrestler Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) and his brother Dave (Mark Ruffalo), to train his team for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. But this promising working relationship goes horribly wrong. You can find out if the movie does too on Dec. 19 at N2Entertainment.net and by checking out my movie review segment on the Kitty O’Neal show (Dec. 19) on KFBK 1530 AM and 93.1 FM at 6:40 p.m. We’ll discuss all the new releases and preview what’s opening on Christmas Day.
