There’s another full week of drama ahead on Coronation Street, and in the episode that airs on Monday 23rd November, Gavin’s back on the cobbles to accompany his dad Michael on a fishing trip that’s designed to give them time to get to know each other And while sitting beside the canal, Michael reveals to Gavin how he first met Gail, and of course, Gavin’s taken aback to hear that it was during the course of a break-in. However, when Michael goes on to tell Gavin the story of how Gail sold the house to David, it’s clear Gavin is more than a little interested to hear that Gail may have a nice nest egg… Next, in the episode that airs on Wednesday 25th November, Dev’s pal Dominic comes into the shop to quiz Dev’s about Julie. However, a jealous Dev tries to put him off Julie by telling him that she’s a bunny boiler who has nine cats. As Sophie listens, she’s dumbfounded at what Dev’s saying, until that is she realises Dev’s trying sabotage Dominic’s date with Julie… And finally, in the episode that airs on Friday 27th November, a livid Carla storms into Barlow’s Buys and demands to know what Tracy thinks she’s playing at by selling Rob’s stuff. She then demands that Tracy hand Rob’s things over, but when she refuses, Carla tries to get behind the counter to get them herself, which prompts Todd to manhandle her out while threatening to ring the police. Once Carla’s gone, Todd and Tracy share a look, and it’s clear there’s now a mutual understanding now between the pair. it’s also been revealed today that ITV are set to air a special tribute to Coronation Street actress Barbara Knox, who’s played the role of Rita for an amazing 50 years. The 60-minute special, which is entitled Rita & Me, will look back on some of Barbara’s most memorable moments in the soap, and will include interviews with the 81-year-old Barbara’s fellow cast members and pals. Rita & Me is set to air on ITV in December
