These 2 girls, Indy and Ruby, are the only ones I was worried about when I change the mini herds around. These 2 girls have gotten into some nasty fights over Cowboy. When the order is changed, Cowboy will be in another herd, so I was hoping it would take any tension away between these 2. After watching Ruby feed Indy hay through the fence today, I am convinced they will do just fine. Sometimes, you wonder if they heard you or read your mind. Ruby fed her this way for about 20 minutes. It was intentional, a peace offering, bonding through the fence. This made my eyes well up with tears. To think of all that these girls have been through prior to ROPES- and to be capable of feeling such tenderness. More magic...created with love and the security of a peaceful home. This is going to work.
